Friedman Mini

Any possible to trace the SLO mini? What awesome work guys!!!
There is no real reason to do that as all of the MINI series there is just a preamp which are the pedals SLO, BE-OD, etc., and power section.

The SLO pedal is already available https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/pcb596/

I already did the power section from the BE MINI., so you're all set other than someone to draw up the schematic and if Robert wants to produce the power board, PCBs available from Pedal PCB. However, the request has been out there for months!

Likewise, these amps are loud, BUT there are Class D chips which can go 2x or 3x (50w or 100w) mono and really, this is where companies like boutique cut back on purpose and only offer lower wattage so you are not 100% happy with it and keep purchasing from them!!

What needs to be done is rev.2 ant take these amps to the next level....a more higher-powered chip, so you know you have plenty of power on-hand for any venue and then make the fx loop switchable, maybe even add a clean!

We need support to build that bridge unless doing it solo.

You could. Anyone could get wild if they wanted to.

Personally, if you're going to add tubes to a circuit, you might as well build an entire amp or rackable pre-amp, which both are out of scope for this DIY group I believe.

PedalPCB builds a lot of clone circuits, but in much better quality and layouts and PCBs. There has not been a lot or any I think amp circuits/PCBs offered, but all revolve around guitar tone and why I thought this exercise would be in-line with the direction and in providing a decently powered solid state amplifier to mate with one's pedals!

Moving beyond a direct clone thou, Robert could offer a BETTER unit than what is provided in the MINI series! That is, you really get a usable (I would have to view YouTube), but like 20W, maybe 30W with the micro in the MINI amps, which just keeps up in a live band setting. To go beyond that, he could design and offer a PCB with a different micro (would have to look up which one) that actually produced 50W or more RMS and would be better than the MINI series and definitely keep up and beyond a band setting!!

Likewise, there is a passive FX Loop in these amps, which can suck tone (didn't seem to much in the MINIs), but a better one could be added, and even make switchable which would absolutely be appreciated to turn on and off say your delay!

The only difference between the higher wattage Class-D micro and the ones in the MINIs is the power supply you need, but that doesn't have to be designed as one can pick up a switchable power supply on Amazon and just need a bump (need to be calculated) say 24V @ 5A to 24V @7A for a nominal price!!

Up to Robert, but to this point, he really hasn't responded in regard to this topic!
 
The MINI's use a Texas Instrument TPA3106D1 micro which produces about 20W RMS

I picked up a ZK-1002L within the year for like $15 on Amazon! This thing puts out 72W RMS into 8 ohm at 24V using a TPA3116D2!
It even has bluetooth on it, but only has one-knob. They have other designs with tonestacks I believe, but I just wanted to see and hear the actual output of these things.

I haven't tried to feed a guitar signal into a pedal into it, but running audio in, can confirm....it's Loud and would be a better basis for a PedalPCB MINI amplifier!
