Friendly fire fuzz sounding thin

Hi y’all

I just finished my friendly fire fuzz and it sounds thin (bass seems to be cut completely). It seemed like there was “full sound” for a second or so but I could not recreate it. Where would I start looking? Wiring and grounding seems fine (bypass fine, no noise, led working), it’s working and sounds like it should but with a massive bass cut. This is not the only superfuzz variant that I own so I have at least a rough idea of how it “should” sound…
