SOLVED FROST DRIVE, no sound either on or bypassed.

Hello people,

I just finished building a frost drive and have encountered this problem, so either on or bypassed there's no sound passing through the pedal.

I've checked the switch and re flowed all the solder joints, I've never used a breakout board for the jacks/power or switch, maybe it's there I don't know.

Never had this happen before, just abit lost and would love abit of help.

Look closely at the solder joints on the breakout board and power I/O module.

The only thing that can affect bypass is offboard wiring, nothing on the PCB would cause that.

Haha, yeah first thing I checked also removed the pedal to see if the amp was working swapped leads and what not.
We’ve all been there.

So, the LED works but no sound. +9V is working…ish. Can you gator clip the input and output to the jacks of a working pedal (input of known pedal to input of the frost drive board; out of frost drive to the tip of the output jack)? That way it would isolate the jacks and switch on your build (and would help identify if there’s an issue with the board). Spitballing some ideas - good luck.
