Gotta be honest. When @fig sent this board my first thought was ooouuu pretty blue board reminded me of hiking in Glacier National Park because of all the Goats. Then I learned this was a @cooder and @Chuck D. Bones creation and I got excited. Excited because the mojito is one of my top three favs and I feel like Chuck hears the magical frequencies the same way I hear them but he actually knows how to achieve them in a circuit.
So this thing delivers in so many ways. The tone is perfection and when you really really dig in it is lovely. This is my new clean boost sound I have been searching for. Out of respect for the blue Montana sky and the blue board I used a @StompBoxParts Brunken blue 125b and it couldn’t be a better look in my opinion.
I didn’t have any 470n caps left so I used a 820n and I am totally happy with all three voices on the toggle.
I may have been too excited and installed a silicon npn gold leg BC107b 221hfe in the GE spot… and used a J112 in the Jfet spot but this thing sounds Goat to me.
