With all I've heard about the morning glory I expected to bask in its light compared to a blue breaker, however it really is not much of an upgrade to one. I don't like blues breakers to be fair so maybe I'm not the guy to ask but I expected more of an upgrade than this.

I’ve tried most all the bluesbreaker variants and honestly there isn’t much of a difference in them to my ears…except that I find the KOT a little more transparent and retains the sound of your amp well.

Was your Blue Breaker build v1 or v2 based? I think they sound different enough to try both. MG is v2 based, KoT is v1 based. The difference is a couple resistors (R2 and R3 on the Blue Breaker board)

Built several variants and have never cared for them with my setup... I'll have a kot on my board for a hot minute but it always leaves.... I've built a few glory holes and I never liked any of them.... mostly because every one of them I built has zero headroom... to get unity gain it is basically cranked all the way up.
