reverb link is good, but $160 for an ego compressor says it all. Nice stuff but way too proud of it.

Yeah, the prices are kinda whack. Widely available jellybean silicon transistors for 20¢ a pop? Obscure jellybean silicons for $2 each? That said, I've enjoyed more than a few of his videos over the last couple of years, so I feel bad being too harsh on the guy.

He had some other stuff for pretty reasonable prices that just sold faster. There were a few lots I was watching that were really quite neat, but they unsurprisingly were the first to sell out

His reverb must be set so people outside of the US can't see his listings.
I’m sure with a lot of reverb postings he padded the price to account for lowball offers and to have some negotiation room to get where he wants.
That said, the “celebrity worship” factor likely will let those items sell high. I’ll never understand it myself.
