That mug's handle's gotta be caked in lead and flux by now!Yep, chisel tip all the way. Also, I ordered my Hakko last year and got a coffee mug with it.
I actually have a T18-D24. I’ve always figured it’d be way too big for pcb work.I am an avid T18-D32 user. I had a lot of challenges with conical tips, and fan-boi'd from Robert's comment bought a D12 and D32 to test years back. The D32 became the #1 right away.
I find it perfect for PCBs. If you know my boards, then I can honestly say that they've been built with a D32. The wedge end is great for getting across the pad. It can even do two legs of a SMD transistor at the same time! (If they're on the same side).
Yeah, I should probably stop building pedals in my kitchen! That mug's handle's gotta be caked in lead and flux by now!
