I somehow had never played a Rat before. I can't believe I hadn't as this is the tone I love in a distortion. Having great fun with this one.
I couldn't decide on how bright to make the LED ring on the breadboard so I just socketed the thing.

Yeah, the Rat is basically a Distortion+ on steroids. Lotsa tweaks out there to fine-tune the FILTER control, restore some of the bass, diode options, etc.
