SOLVED Help with leprechaun

I’ve tried to make this pedal about 4 times now, each time it has failed to work. I got the FV1 pre soldered this time but the led still won’t even light up:( does anyone know what I could do to get this working? no expression jack but everything is wired up correctly by the diagram. happy to attach more pictures/closeups. thanks! good I believe? what specifically on them do you mean? i checked continuity on ground and all looks good
Read the troubleshooting sticky... Then get a multimeter and give a voltage readout for each pin# on all your chips and tell us what number chip has these readings.... pay attention to whether it's a negative or positive voltage as well..

I’m sorry i’m having trouble finding the sticky, for the multimeter am i putting both probes to the pin, or to the pin and where it connects to in the schematic?
 
multimeter set to DC volts.. black probe on a ground pad and the other red probe on the pins youll be reading voltage of... take not on how to located how the pins are numbered for ic chips so you can record the voltage... some pins may read a negative voltage instead of a positive.. take not of that. obviously the pedal will need to be powered.. Looking at your pedal briefly It is likely a cold solder joint.. you have several that look hungry and some look like too much....
I'll also recommend you go with a different type of wire.. that stranded can cause you issues with loose stands shorting something out... try this prebond /topcoated wire.... so much better. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QB94TX6?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2

Continuty is not a test for voltages. You want to measure the voltages at various points on the circuit to know that the supplied voltages actually are. That is a foundational troubleshooting technique. See if you can locate the power supply pins on the FV-1, CD4069, and the two TL072 ICs and measure those.

so i just checked this morning on all of the pins… after getting the voltages the leds are now working somehow. going to plug it into the amp and see how it goes, will update in a second
