I am in an incredible state of denial as far as my commitment to this hobby. I did buy a couple of three drawer stackable things from Walmart.
Top drawer are Ziploc bags where I have collected parts and PCBs for specific active projects. Second drawer then goes to most of my active components - Ziploc bags by type of component (resistors are at least slightly organized, with three rubber band stacks (zero ohm to 10k, 10k to 100k and 100k above)) grouped by, for example, resistors, capacitors, diode, ICs, breakout boards, etc. Then other drawers contain things like LEDs, knobs, pots and foot switches, then enclosures, then general tools. It’s like I’m not committing to a real organization system because then I would be, you know committing to this hobby that I am already pretty much 100% committed to already but don’t want to admit it.
