Currently breadboarding the propolis, and I'm having a tough time conceptualizing where to actually put these diodes on my breadboard. Could someone show me?
Depends on what you mean by "asymmetrical." Usually, octave-up circuits are all about symmetry. You can unbalance the octave generator to let more fundamental thru by messing with R7 - R10 (changing any one of them will do). It may not look like it, but the diode clipper is already asymmetric because Q3 & Q4 do not drive the diodes symmetrically.
Asymmetrical like in a simple overdrive circuit. Currently in the process of vero-ing a Boss SD-1 with clipping selector switch. The switch would be between a symmetrical and asymmetrical set of diodes. Wasnt sure if this should have been in a new thread.
