It’s kind of funny how the the builds I anticipate being difficult go off without a hitch meanwhile I’ll end up troubleshooting a fuzz pedal with a quarter of the parts.
At any rate, thought I’d post this one as it’s one I’ve been wanting to build forever.
I wasn’t sure how well Black would show up on this enclosure, so I went negative with my artwork to let the blue shine through. In hindsight, I think it may have been fine the other way. That said, Tayda’s sky blue enclosure are still my favorite blue enclosure.
Really, the only downside to this one was needing to add an extra order of 1/8w resistors. And that’s not much of a down side because I think I enjoy working with the smaller resistors more than the regular ones.
As a finishing thought, I tried to put my limited design skills to use to update the logo. Not sure I’m sold on it, but it was nice not having to worry about the foot switch placement covering it up.
