I thought about a wooden enclosure. Need to brush up on woodworking skills a bit more and wait until spring so I can spend more than 15 min in the garage

Since this thread was woken back up, I’m seeing this comment just now for the first time.
Back in high school I made a pair of matching wooden finger-jointed enclosures with walnut and mahogany sides and the tops and backplates were I think maybe red cedar— I don’t totally remember and I don’t know where they are currently to be able to say for sure. Internally they’re the same size as a 1590B, and the exterior is roughly the same as a 125B.
Never put anything in them since I was never able to commit to a circuit to put in them lol. I should get on that though! Just need to find 16mm pots with long enough threaded portions to then, or otherwise to just do a 1-knob circuit with a big old 24mm pot
