IC Chip Storage

Does anyone have a source for the small tubes that IC Chips come in sometimes?
Depending on where you get IC chips, they come in different packaging. I like the plastic tubes the best, and could use a few, but can't find anywhere to buy them. Any suggestions would be appreciated !

I recently stumbled across Newark. They were very handy in obtaining the out of stock parts for the larger ProtoBoard. Super quick shipping and quality products.

And some of there stuff is incredibly cheap. I got a reel (literally) of 47k resistors for $0.015 a piece…

I've used Newark in the past, but always forget to check there, never had an issue

They go a bit overboard with their packaging: everything is sealed in individual envelopes. There is a lot of waste, but they ship just as fast as Mouser, and with a bit more effort and searching, you can get big time deals.

For ICs I find that using a pill organizer from Walmart does the job. I have a few of them in a drawer. No issues for me
