I know @Mentaltossflycoon has one but he's been holding out on us
BF Vibrolux Reverb, but I‘ve already BTDT with a conversion to my old Fender 30.I'm looking for a winter/summer break project! I really love the sound of a blackpanel princeton but don't feel like shelling out $800+. A super reverb would be so cool, but tooooo loud. Personally, I just play at home and would like something quieter. Right now, I'm just running a blues jr with a crex keeping it clean (looking to change tone stack on it). I would love to run two amps in stereo.
Anyways, if you guys could build only one fender amp, which would it be?
I have mail going out for some of those. You folks have been so patient. And of course, this is what my bench looks like right now.... no amp in sight.View attachment 36934
I'm just getting them ready for when you do. No rush for my sake! I have plenty of toys to keep me distracted. Vote @fig for mayor of Toantown!I have mail going out for some of those. You folks have been so patient.![]()

I say be like me and buy one just to sit on it for a year and see if it hatches from the box like a chicken egg.
It's sure not gonna get cheaper in a yearI hate you.
*I put down a deposit*
Im also wondering this. The kits seem to be pretty expensive, and people seem to be using those instead of sourcing. I feel like maybe looking around for a used princeton reissue seems like a better deal!I almost pulled the trigger on a champy build, but then bought a blues deluxe for about the same money. I’m not saying I can’t justify it, that’s crap. I’m saying I can have more amp for the same money and I don’t have to build it. Am I missing something, how are you guys doing it?
