Intelligent Relay Bypass Questions

I'm getting ready to build the Intelligent Relay Bypass and I have a few questions:

1. The Build Document mentions an LED: "Holding down the footswitch while applying power toggles the Auto-On function on or off. The LED will blink five times indicating that the Auto-On function has been toggled on or off. " There's no LED in the schematic - any thoughts where it should be?

2. SW1 is mentioned in the BOM as a momentary switch; I'm assuming this is the foot switch, correct? If so, is there a recommendation for a reliable one?

Thanks in advance!

The LED will be on the main circuit you are building (PedalPCB boards have an LED connection). If you're not building a circuit from PedalPCB you may have to account for an LED differently (there are instructions on the forum for that somewhere if you search bypass boards).

SW1 is the momentary switch. I've been using the soft touch SPSTs from Tayda with no problems.

Thanks for the quick answer, p_wats! Apparently the LED should be installed in place of Q1.

Ah, right. That rings a bell. I've only ever used the relay boards with a regular PedalPCB circuit so far, but others have done it, so good luck!
