Is it possible to move the power input position on the newer mxr 10 Band EQs?

HI, I want to get a MXR 10 band EQ, but I dont want the power input on top and instead the left side, is it possible to detach from the PC Board and connect something else to create a input on the left side of the box?

While you'll not be able to re-mount that DC jack elsewhere on the PCB, if there is sufficient space to insert a new DC jack (like the one in the attached image), the old one can be removed and the new one wired in its place.

LoveMySwitches and other vendors have these.

yeah so what you recommend, detaching the old one, wiring anew one with cable two+ inches and just screw it like this, do you know if there are videos of doing this?

Technically you don't even have to remove the existing jack unless you want to... you could just solder leads onto it's lugs in parallel.

Just make sure there is enough depth in the enclosure for the jack to fit along with the PCB.
