@Robert you traced this one a while back, right? Was it anything all that unique?

I believe the drive was one of the other Rockett circuits rehashed but the boost was somewhat unique.

I'll dig out the schematic for this one shortly and see what I can do....

We're finally starting to get over the Christmas bug, now I just have to catch up on everything that has been neglected for the past few weeks.... and year-end tax time fun!

Sadly, Holdsworth left the ring mod duties to Mike Ratledge

That's not sad at all! I'd prefer the bass players Fred Baker or Hugh Hopper have had ring-mods, but at least SOMEBODY in Soft Machine had ringmod...

I'm forever hooked on boosts and want to know what's different with this one.

No disrespect to Hugh hopper— absolutely incredible musician, but I’d rather hear Roy Babbington mess around with the ring mods if one of the soft machine bassists were to delve into the beep boop world
