S stinkfeet New member Aug 2, 2024 #1 I heard some bad things about sourcing jfets from Tayda but I wondered if anyone had any luck with these? I saw a post where someone ordered some and said they were fine but that was just one person. I'm planning on using them in a randall clone.

Robert Reverse Engineer Aug 2, 2024 #2 I've never had any issues with JFETs from Tayda but it's been several years since I ordered any from them. If you're concerned, these are genuine / direct from the manufacturer. spi Well-known member Aug 2, 2024 #3 I was pleasantly surprised that the 2n5458 I got from them was perfectly in spec. Sample size of 1 though, so can't vouch for all of them.
