My 8Yo showed an interest in soldering so I let him pick out a pedal… By name . He thought the idea of a Jet Pedal sounded cool… I held the iron and he placed every component and fed the solder to the parts … Was a long build… 
But we managed to finish it this weekend without too much fuss… We may or may not have cooked a trace or two trying to double team the solder task… The led part of the circuit had to be troubleshot… No power to the Anode side of led and we also had no continuity on the trace at the bottom of the board up to the connection point of the 4k7 CLR.. I ended up running a new wire from the SW point at bottom of board to a new resistor and tacked in to the power in and ground.. Viola. This pedal sounds really good and I like it a lot.
