Kazoo Fuzz

Built this one on January first and forgot to share! First pedal of 2020.

This is another super simple fuzz. I’m always on the search for the worlds greatest fuzz. Or at least another one to build lol

Another nice little Velcro-fuzz. The Fuzz knob gives you some range of thickness. Anywhere between noon and dimed out will give you nice tones. You can use the tone knob to give emphasis to where you want the focus to be. Seemed to work more than most Fuzz tone stacks.

And the switch gives you a little bit of difference in tightness of the sound. A little less gage and more pop and fizz to the sound when flipped.

A very fun pedal and a great beginner fuzz to build.

Very tidy build! Looks great. I just finished a Kazoo myself, and I'm pretty pleased with it overall. My toggle switch and Tone knob though are both really really subtle in the change, like barely perceptible. Anyone have recommendations for mods to beef them up a bit or make them more pronounced? Thanks!

I presume you could play with c5 and c6 which connect to the tone pot. 1nf and 100nf respectively. Don't quote me because I'm 3 glasses deep here, but changing their values for a bigger difference between them might do the trick? 1nf to 330nf say?

See what Chuck says. That guy actually knows stuff.
