Keeley Psi Fuzz (PedalPCB Kinetic Fuzz)

IMO Ionosphere sucked, is this more worth building?
i haven't tried the ionosphere, but looking at the schematic, it only has x2 gain stages, so i'm not surprised this was your experience.

regardless, i'm pretty impressed with this psi fuzz thing.

If it is, I’ll verify your layout within couple weeks.
i still need to double check this layout against the schematic when im fresh and not burnt out.
(wouldn't recommend building it just yet, unless you wanna check it yourself)

but once ive done that, ill be ordering the 1/2W resistors and fatties to make a start.

i can at least confirm that the 34-hole-wide board does indeed fit in a 1590BB2.

well, i went over it again and i couldn't find any errors, so i'd say it's good to go.

attached version with components removed/layout of trace cuts and jumpers. (no changes to the initial layout above)

update:
there was x1 error in the previous layout.
(found out the hard way on this build attempt)

easy fix.
diagonal jumper isn't ideal, but it works so i'm happy.

now verified 🥳

confirmed 34 wide does fit well in a 1590BB/BB2, but it is tight.

(evidence)

If you move the 15K and 22K resistors directly below the diagonal jumper (15K to the right one space and 22K to the left one space) and also swap the red and the green jumpers associated with them then you can move the cut at 16-I one space to the left and everything fits.
:)
