let's see your pedalboard!

This is my in-progress lunar lander set up. My attic studio rehab won’t likely be done until next spring so I’ve had to make due with the space I have.

At the top is a Boogie Mk V 35 that runs into a Suhr Reactive Load and then into the top pedal board.

The top pedal board is pretty much done except I want to try the Zuul Plus in the effect loop of the Mark V. Everything is wired for stereo from the output of the OX Stomp. The board ends at the Mercury X and goes into a Babyface Pro that is setup to go straight through (no ad-da conversion) to a set of Focal Shapes w/ Sub One studio monitors (or LCD-X headphones).

The middle pedal board … lol. I just started taking meds again for my ADHD so I’m hoping I’ll finally get it in a good place. This the main guitar focused board that runs in the Mark V.

The bottom board is my bass board. This one needs to be redone too haha. But it’s setup to split my bass signal to go the guitar board too. The output of the bass board goes to a mono input on the Babyface Pro.

Maybe this is insane but I’ve been thinking of building a SLO head and then buying another reactive load and OX Stomp for a super stereo rig?!! No kink shaming please.
I see someone else that doesn’t step on their pedals🤣

But Honestly the only reason I don’t build these things with toggles is the pipe dream I actually might get a chance to play live again one day(or someone else might want to use them) but until then they will be desktop queens while I play from a chair into a DAW, and in fact I only bought a comfortable strap so I don’t have to keep putting down and picking up my guitar while I use the keyboard and mouse.

Ditto. This setup is all angled for sitting in a chair. I can reach everything except the reactive load. I may never go back to floor pedal boards :)

Do you guys leave effects on for the duration of whatever you're playing? I've got a handful of effects on my desk - preamp, speaker sim, hx stomp (with amp sims, noise gate, reverb or anything else that doesn't need to be turned on and off) - but all my other effects had to go on a floor board. I think it would drive me crazy to have to interrupt playing to reach over and turn something on/off.

It probably depends what you are doing. If you are tracking parts you would probably use the same sound, but if you are playing live probably not?

That's more or less what I was thinking. Even tracking though, if I'm in the middle of a good take I'm not keen on stopping playing to turn off an effect. But I definitely don't want something like a phaser on for an entire song (at least with what I'm playing).

I will build a specific chain for a track and everything stays on, (usually no more than about 5 or 6 pedals) if a part requires me to turn a pedal on/off on the fly I will put than one on the floor, I don’t even actually have “pedal board” for the floor just the 45deg one on the desk. I change things out a lot.

Reviving this thread of greatness.

Here’s my living room setup into a Champ clone.

This is a Harley Benton pedalboard. The cool thing is that it has a built in power supply with a 9V 3A output for hungry things (Trio), a 24V 2A for whatever madness that is for, and most of the other supplies are 500mA. There’s a battery version as well, if you can stomach having to use a PSU instead of a jug cable. I like it simpler.

The Zoom MS-70CDR+ is probably the most affordable non-FV1 reverb option out there. It’s not DAW quality but is better IMO than a limited number of delays masquerading as reverb. Plus it’s got a bunch of other stuff which is passable in a live situation. Reverb and maybe a bit of tremolo is enough for me though.

Here's my entire rig. 100w Amped with the BigNoise Doppler Vibe (from jjjimi84), Aion Elite (Clapton boost), and Madbean Trash Compactor (enclosure by jhanezz) out front. Line6 MM4 (with preset doubler), Nova Delay, and PPCB Deflector in the loop.

Plug it into a cab and it's a 100w rig. Unplug the speaker and run it front of house with it's built in cab modeler. Under the deck is a Dunlop power brick and Line6 wireless.

How are those Warm Audio pedals? That 1176 pedal looks super cool and that Meris Enzo!!!! YOWZA!
I really love both of them. They are both built really well. The 1176 replaced a keeley 4 knob compressor on my board. I like the controls of 1176 better and it’s got less noise than the keeley. The ringer is super fun. Enzo is fun too but it takes time to dial in a good sound.

What's in the 1590LB?
