Dual overdrives are probably the type of pedal I enjoy building the most. This isn’t my first Madbean effort, but it’s definitely a favorite so far. What I like best is the contrast of dirt between the rhythm and lead channels. The gain is smooth and compressed on both channels with of course the lead channel being the higher gain option.

The right hand stomp is bypass and the left is channel selection. Toggles are featured for tone bypass and “reactive mode”/buffer. Reactive mode works with the guitar volume to control overall dirt where the buffer is less interactive with the guitar volume. There is an internal trimmer to set min/max distortion with the two channels.

Not much special going on here with aesthetics- just a Tayda violet 125B and my usual Cricut vinyl decal.

Highly recommend- one of my favorite Madbean builds so far!

What’s this based on? @MattG Are you referring to sheepyloves version called “The Frizzler”? If so that one really surprised me. The clarity and note definition from a distortion pedal is amazing on that one.

I thought this was a pretty wild one too when I built it a few years ago. I gave it to my dad, and a bunch of other builds, when I needed to downsize, but this is one I wish I kept lol
