Last time, I checked my IC stock, cause I needed one for a mic preamp build and then I found an AD712.
I don't remember for what kind of build I used is, so I was checking if there is any guitar pedal, which use a AD712.
I found the Zendrive and I was shocked how expensive a tiny little IC can be. I'm pretty sure I paid not more then 5€ when I bought it years ago.
I checked the next parts and found, that there is also a 1N34A germanium diode inside, luckily I also had these at home, cause I bought a bunch when I made my PPCB Kliche. Everything else is pretty standard when you build several guitar pedals.
The build was really easy and I enjoyed it very much.
Also tested the pedal and I think it's quite nice. I still struggle a bit with the Tone and Voice potentiometer cause I still need to figure out how the two potentiometers interact with each other.
