Marshall Guv'nor & Alexander Jubilee: same thing?

Am I missing something or are the Guv'nor and the Alexander Jubilee the same thing?

Looking at the PPCB Appetizer schematic and the factory one for the Marshall Guv, they APPEAR to be the same circuit. About the only thing I can tell that's different is the cap across IC pins 1 & 2: it's 100p on the Marshall, and 120p on the Alexander.
Is there more to it, or is this just brilliant marketing?

Pretty much.

If I recall correctly, the first DC filter cap (C100) 100uF vs, 10Uf. Blocking cap (C4) 330nF vs. 68Nf. Tl072 vs. RC4558. Treble control taper (A10K vs. B10K). C1 are so close, it is basically the same (9.6uF vs. 10uF).

Subtitle differences and IMHO, the Jubilee sounds more like my old 1987 Marshall 2553 (small box Jubilee) and The Gov'nor sounds great, but not nailing the JCM800.

IMHO, either pedal sounds better with different color clipping LEDs which makes for a slightly asymmetrical clip (more amp like).
