Master Bypass Switch on a Dual Drive?

I’m thinking of building a dual overdrive with a master bypass. That is to say, a footswitch for each plus a third footswitch to bypass the whole pedal so you only have to press one switch instead of two to turn it off. Oh, and also a toggle switch for changing the order of the drive stacking.

Can anyone help me figure out how to wire this up? I’ve used the order switch adapter board before but I’m unsure where/how to add this “master bypass” to the circuit.

Thank you, legends!

It would be easy to start with this and then wrap it all with your master.

But then you could use 2-way LEDs to show if one side is activated or not when you use the master to turn them on or off.

Or use a 3-way or multiple LEDs to show if they’re activated and in what order.

Yeah I’ve used that diagram before and I plan to use it again for this. I just don’t know what changes to make for the two outer LED’s to stay on when master bypassed and the middle LED to go off. And I don’t know where in the circuit to place the master bypass switch. Here’s what I’m going for.

Edit: looking through the forum, it seems I might have to add a loop inside the enclosure and keep the send/return internal.

Still open to everybody’s input!

In between the two boards no matter which order they’re in. Is that possible? I was kinda just kidding.

Just want to let you guys know I’m still working on this. I’m following the graphic Robert made for me, and so far so good. One of the drives is a Kliche Mini, and the customer wants the bypass switch on the left instead of in the center, so I’m working around that. Also realized I’m a few components short so I’m having to order those on the fly. I realized I haven’t ordered from Tayda since 2021!
