With thanks to @Robert, wanted to post a build report for the Maven Overdrive. I wanted a Maestro Ranger OD when these were released a few years ago, but never pulled the trigger on one. From a first glance, I liked the aesthetic on the Maestro reissue pedals, and I tried to carry over that vibe with my own build. It’s not YATS. Very warm, compressed and output feels powerful with humbucker guitars, and doesn’t lose it’s gumption with single coils. I was very pleasantly surprised at the tones I’m getting from this build! It joins the Precipice Overdrive and Southern Belle on my short list of very favorite PPCB builds. It’ll be on my main board as a permanent resident for the foreseeable future!
