MBP Kingmaker

Here’s my take on the Kingmaker from the Maddest of Beans. It’s a Pearl FG-1 Flanger. It can make some pretty crazy matrix sounds. Pretty easy build, went together quickly.

How do you like the sound? This is one of the few flangers that I haven’t built (but want to). Great build!

It’s not what I would call a traditional sound by there are some good sounds to be had and some crazy noises, too.

Amazing graphics! You obviously go to a bit more trouble than I do... I do wonder how you pronounce Fdbk though. My wife is Croatian so I'm used to names like Grljsic and Snjezana but I think Fdbk is a step too far.

Feedback was just too long of a label name.

Fraudhacker will come. Looking to make my Bean order shipment worth its while, so.... Kingmaker or Collosalus, which should I grab as a complimentary? (Already have the A/DA and Lovetone Flanger boards)

Collosalus, it’s more like a traditional flanger. I’ve built all 3, do that if you can.

For whoever may care: I noticed a discrepancy with the build doc and this review / pedal rundown of '82. In its stock settings should run into self-osscilation somewhere at the 3/4 of the dial.
