Hi everyone,
Had a blast putting this together.




One thing that was weird is the charge pump.

I had some LT1054 from a couple of years ago, all made an high frequency noise.

Went on a search about this subject and it appears that I have fake ones since linking legs 1 and 8 made them quiet.

Probably a different charge pump with frequency boost feature in disguise.

I noticed the schematic has a switch SJ1 for this but it's not on the PCB.

Anyway all is sorted fake ic or not and I am really happy with the result.

By the way the tank in the graphic is a Merkava MKII, an old friend from my service as a tank gunner.

Probably a different charge pump with frequency boost feature in disguise.

That was originally a solder jumper on the board for using a charge pump other than the LT1054, not a mechanical switch.

It was removed because it's unnecessary.
