Mini Rotary Switch (1P8T) - adjustable stops?

Anyone know if the pedalpcb Mini Rotary Switch (1P8T) (Alpha RS1611 series) switch allows you to adjust the 'stops' - ie limit it to something less than 8 positions?

I know a lot of switches do but not sure about these. Cannot find anything specific about it anywhere. I think the larder diameter RS2611 does(?)

Mouser offers Grayhill stop-adjustable rotary switches in several configurations. The price is a good bit steeper and the connections, footprint & drills are different. They are also a far sturdier rotary.

Thanks - didn't think so. Whether it could be "hacked" I'm not sure. Does there seem to be any way to open it up w/o destroying it?

yeah those are obscenely expensive (I have a few from some projects). especially since I'm not using it for audio but more for midi controller setting and dont need super clean signal fidelity.

How many stops do you need?

There are 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 position rotaries in the shop.

Nope, it’s pretty well sealed.

anybody have any opinions on the "quality" of these? Feel ok or wobbly?
Dose the 8 position stop at 8 or keep rotating? (ie no stop)

It's a $2 piece of plastic so temper your expectations and don't step on it.
It stops.
