I am attending the Mojotone Amp building class this weekend, I am building a 5E3 Deluxe Tweed. I have build a few amps in the past, so I am not a newbie, but this is a great class for anyone attending. I highly recommend it for those who haven't built an amp before. The staff is awesome and you get a facility tour which is a treat in itself. I will post some pictures as I have taken a lot.

How’d it turn out? I’m thinking about picking up a Mojo or Weber kit. Weber’s about an hour away from me.

Takes me forever to build an amp now. My fingers are stiff with arthritis. This is a 5e3 I made with a Hiwatt style circuit I designed from the original layout/schematic. I wanted to see if the Hiwatt style tag board would be easier. It was NOT easier, lol.

This is one that I built with Astron PIO capacitors. The caps are shielded and pickup no noise from the surrounding EM fields. I got 120 of these suckers on eBay for a buck each. A guy in the EU sells them for $48 each, lmao. I think he ran out tho.... I do not remember how many of them I have built, but it's more than 20.... And this was when I was working 50-60 hours a week programming..... I DIY the circuit boards, very easy with the printed drilling templates I just glue to the G10.

I have this one in the future, custom chassis, .022 phase inverter caps like "the edge's" 5e3. I will not be making any more 'ship in a bottle' amps....
