Moonshot Tremolo Noise

I built one of these when I first started building pedals. When a note/chord is played there is a low volume static sound. I assumed it was my fault since I was so new at this addictive hobby. I just finished my second build today and it has the same static issue. Any suggestions? The static does increase in volume when the gain is increased. Thank you.

I'm suspicious of that TL072.

Do you have another dual opamp you could try in that socket? (Just not another TL072 from that same batch)
