The power supply I ordered is stranded somewhere that's currently in lockdown so I haven't been able to test this yet, but I was too excited about it not to box it up. Thanks to the folks who helped me with troubleshooting ways to remove stray solder from unfilled pads Let me know if you can see any issues.



I've noticed some flux I didn't clean as I've uploaded this picture, should I go back and do that?

At the moment it's just a clean white box but I've heard a new colleague of mine at the job I'm starting later this month has a laser etcher so I'm hoping to get a design cut into the enclosure eventually.

Edit: I put an OP07 in this one (I don't mind how they sound in the comparisons I've heard), but I've sourced an LM308 for the Parentheses that's on my list. Next up though: LGSM

Very happy to report it fired right up and sounded exactly like a Rat. As I was expecting, it did the slashing high gain and the brutal wall of fuzz, but what I wasn't expecting was how good it sounded adding low gain dirt to a clean Fender Twin patch on my Atomic Amplifire.

Happy days, time to build a tube screamer.

Cool, Just watch your Input & Output jack Tip terminals are not touching Enclosure when mounting!!!
It's a common mistake with this type of jack.
