Musikding - Abyss Kit

Hi - I just built the Abyss kit (and it's not my first time building a kit) and the yellow LED does not change brightness when changing Intensity, Rate or Throb. Then there is no change in the vibe effect (just stuck at the same filter cut-off). Bypass works just fine.

I'm going to have a look at the soldering again just in case I missed something - but I had already read that someone had issues with the LFO and capacitor types? I got the kit from Musikding (maybe someone encountered this issue before).

Suggestion that you post clear pictures of both sides of the board to begin with. This speeds up the process and gives people something concrete to work with.

Regarding the fixed cutoff, make sure that the LDR/LED assembly is shielded from ambient light somehow. Try covering it with a dark cloth for starters. While this may not resolve the stationary LED issue, at least it prevents ambient light from affecting the LDR.
