New Gibson amps

It’s funny they tout hand wired. When I think hand wired I think totally with eyelet or turret boards. No PCB. I think PCB’s are OK if thick and designed correctly, but that’s not usually the case. A fan is a good idea, especially with this layout. Low voltage with a separate power supply, ran slow, works well with no noise.

I don't see anything on Gibson site where they call this hand-wired. Did you see something different there or somewhere else? They do say "hand-crafted" (which is meaningless).
 
I love my 1960 GA-8 Discoverer. I have a transitional model when they were still using up Gibsonette parts, so it's a Gibsonette circuit. These new ones don't really do it for me, considering you can still get old Gibsons for a relatively decent price.
 
And let’s not forget how they are still milking the “Class A power” cash cow. The GA20 is class AB power. Not class A. Not sure why companies ever jumped on that other than somehow “class a” is supposed to give the impression of “better” than AB
