WHAT?My bench amp is a '65 Princeton reissue as well. No mods, I'm used to a Twin so I don't mind (or even really notice) the bass.

Not the bass player, the bass frequencies coming from the amp.
I'm mostly a bedroom player these days (if even that) so I like a nice full sound, not something that "would sit nice in a theoretical mix"...
I love my Twin but it's just too big and heavy to lug around the shop and throw on the bench (I tried), so I got a little Princeton that sits nicely underneath. It'd be perfect if I could just remember to turn the damned thing off at the end of the day...
It has pulled quite a few all-nighters and all-weekenders.

Ironically the Twin is my bedroom practice amp. It sounds massive at whisper volumes.

Next up is to get the garage cleaned out so I can start making the work tables. We kinda junked it up in Dec. to get the house ready for all our holiday guests. Only used like $50 of the Lowes gift cards so far! They are burning a hole in my pocket.
