New Tayda Enclosure Sizes!

Just happened across this on the Tayda enclosure sizes tab. Four new enclosure sizes. 1590BS (deeper form of 1590B), 1590G (between 1590A and 1590B in size, but flatter. The classic vape box size apparently), and 1590C (like 1590BB, but deeper. Even deeper than a 1590BB2) don’t have anything listed in them yet, but I’m psyched to see them added, as I’ve begged Hugo for these in the past. Particularly the BS and the C (I’d be thrilled if they offered the G2. Probably my favorite mini enclosure. The G is a little too short for anything that isn’t in the very front of your board).

The 1590D is particularly exciting for fans of DEFX stuff, since a lot of their projects require the additional depth of a 1590D over the regularly offered 1590DD. This one is already in stock too, with powder cost options available, though it’s only Black Hammer and White Hammer at the moment.

The 1590BS looks enticing, will pcb's from 125B builds fit in there with extra pot clearance. Enclosure size looks awesome, just not sure what to fit in it

Typically yes, as long as the board is narrow enough. Plenty of PPCB boards for 125B are narrow enough to fit in a 1590B comfortably, but a few of them really squeeze every last millimeter of space out of a 125B, so they wouldn’t fit.

6-pot boards definitely won't, because 3-along 16mm pots won't fit. White outline is the 1590B:

when I'm doing my own, this is my safe board width, although you can stretch it maybe 100mils/2.54mm at most, but you're in the danger zone there.

Nice, I wish they would add a range of affordable desktop / rack options too. Something quarter, half, and full width 19inch would be sweet.

My favourite form factor as a mostly studio guy.

I've been resorting to alluminium project cases from AliExpress.

I’ve been looking at some of the angled Hammond desktop enclosures that Amplified Parts and Mouser carry, but 1/2 Rack format stuff has also been a long time interest:
