You may want to consider a protoboard for your breadboarding needs. Or DIY one yourself.

That’s what I did in that pic. I just need to mount everything down to a piece of wood or something.

I was going use the ProtoBoard but couldn’t locate all of the parts to build it.

I got the Thirty Something all together today and it works great. My only complaint is that it’s slightly noisy but not bad at all.

I would dive in more with distortions and fuzzes. Building a big muff is almost a right of passage! That, and a rat.

To me, salvaging a damaged board is a rite of passage…

THehammer82—even though you’ve ordered a replacement board, I’d keep the first one, and when you’re feeling feisty, give it a go. You can gently scrape the masking off the traces, and solder (for me, usually a scrap of resistor lead) something to it to bridge where you need to get to. It may not look pretty, but there’s always a feeling of satisfaction in the fix.

Though it too is not pretty, there's also satisfaction to be had in taking the acetylene torch to it.

Shoot, so far, I haven’t needed a campfire. I can get them to splode no problem.
