Noisy Thermionic distortion

Hi. Just finished Thermionic distortion. It works but have a LOT of unpleasant noise. Noise increases along with dist pot. Bass, treble, tight and presnece pots doesn't affect amount of noise - they only change tone. I've also build Tyrian distorition and it works great - so no problem with guitar and combo grounding. I used metalic resistors, WIMA capacitors and Alpha pots. There is also Silver Mica 120pF/500V instead of WIMA (i couldn't get one) and lead ring instead of red led diode.

If you plan on building some more, you'll need to build yourself an Audio Probe to follow the signal path.

I would recommend having a look at that and try to follow your input signal with the schematic. You'll find where it pick up noise.

There's a few solders on that board I'd reflow, anything that looks more of a ball than a conical shape
