Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

My buddy had one of their albums back in the late 90s and I don't think I dug it at the time. Between then and now I have not heard a single song from their numerous released albums, nor seen an ad that made me think....hmmm, maybe I should give that band another listen. Until last week when i accidentally found Pigs - You Ruin Everything on youtube while actually searching for the industrial band/artist PIG. Not a mistake, a happy accident.

It's been a day of being forced to listen to things I dislike. From Mellencamp and Katy Perry in the car repair shop waiting room to pharmacy musak. Currently waiting on some Mexican food and somehow this is the best thing I heard in public all day. The lady assembling my tacos is jamming hard to this back there.

I have a pair of boots that would fit right into that video that I bought in Rivera Maya Mexico. I bought them for the stage, but at my age, playing a three hour gig wearing these boots is a recipe for disaster. I'll wear them for a photo shoot, but not for a gig anymore. Now I play mostly in Sketchers slip-ons. ;)

"Imagine Kate Bush and Tori Amos wrote a yacht doom album satirising the edgelord-tech-billionaire-worship generation, recorded by Peter Gabriel and Michael McDonald in the early 80s using an industry prerelease unit of the late 90s Yamaha PSR-8000 synthesiser, several heavily distorted guitars, and a baby grand."

I love this man :ROFLMAO:

Just got my van back after an expensive week in the shop before heading to an intense massage therapy session. It's beautiful out so I had to stop at a good taco truck on the way back for birria. These tunes are definitely my vibe right now.

Going to see Protest The Hero at the end of the month, so I was listening to their back catalog today in preparation (I got into them at Volition, and am much less familiar with their first three albums). This track was a real standout to me. Lyrics are a work of art.
