He stepped on an oc2 didn't he?
I spoke with him afterwards, 'cause there was so much low end (in a VERY good way) that I'm sure a few people in the audience needed to change their Depends, so I had to know what he used.He stepped on an oc2 didn't he?
Now that's POURING YOUR GUTS OUT!
The only digital faux oc2 I've used was in an ms60b. It was just ok... as it goes with the zoom stuff. I was happy for the inclusion and it definitely was closer to the real thing than any of the drives. No surprises there.I spoke with him afterwards, 'cause there was so much low end (in a VERY good way) that I'm sure a few people in the audience needed to change their Depends, so I had to know what he used.

He said it was a new algorithm he'd just loaded into his HX, based on the OC-2. The usual tracking foibles on the lowest-played notes, according to him, but it sounded killer out front. To that, he mentioned he had no idea how it was coming across FOH, hadn't had a chance to suss it prior.

The emotional content ... wow, words are failing me. WOW!
That one gets me every time.Maybe one of the best songs of all time?
Doug Martsch's voice is really something else.
I really need to spend some time with my HOG. I just haven't gotten it to really work for me yet. That effect exists on my ehx HOG and I do use it on one preset. It has the dry signal with octave down (attack normal) and then a few higher octaves w attack delay sweep in on long notes. One of like 13 reasons I have such a monstrosity in my set up.
There is a reason she got a call. And we are all better for it.
