Not sure how Bill McClintock’s mashups flew under my radar, but this one with Slayer and Edwin Star’s War/South of Heaven is pretty bad-ass!

There’s a tone of other awesome ones along with some funny cheesy ones as well. Definitely worth checking out. He is an elementary school music teacher with a background in music tech and theory.

We were supposed to be cleaning up the basement but instead my daughter found my old record player and collection. The last two days have been non-stop record fest. It’s cool seeing her reaction to a technology she has never seen but she picked up on it instantly. Man I miss records. I was lucky enough to work with a lady years ago who gifted me her collection. Tons of stuff from the 70s and 80s. currently we are on a Santa trip and man I wish someone was making recordings at this level currently. Wow. She is also digging my handful of SubPop goodies.

Been meaning to say I checked these out. That bananagun album is really fun. I've listened to it a couple times now. I listened to the Frankie and the witch fingers track like a week ago but forgot what I thought of it. I saved the album for a closer listen though
