I only really knew Burt Bacharach through Elvis Costello, but it gave me a real appreciation for him. Painted from Memory is a really great album, though it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea.

Anyway... rest in peace, Burt. You had a great run and left some really wonderful music for everyone to enjoy. Thanks for that.

I’ve been replacing my record collection that I had in the 90s lately. Lost them during a dumb time in my life, and fit whatever reason, it’s so much more satisfying to listen to these albums on vinyl. This is the first album from Jawbreaker- so many memories associated with this one and the band as a whole. Got to see them again last year when on the 30th? anniversary of this record. What a show.
