I can't remember most of my selections. The only one that stuck around long was AC/DC Live that came in the obnoxious 2 cd case that was tall instead of thick. It had a money talks dollar in it.

Anyway, since I was a dumb child making dumb choices and didn't have a lot of popular music knowledge I snagged some things because the cover looked cool. I remember buying this one because of the the ljizard (lol autocorrect) on the cover. It went right in the trash later that day. This was my first relisten and I stand by my actions. I'd throw it away again.

In my youth I would sometimes buy records because the cover looked cool. The only two I can remember are the ones that I guess I actually liked:


Hadn't heard of those guys before seeing that cover in the store. Loved it, unsurprisingly, given my penchant for Eddie Cochrane, Bo Diddley, etc.
The cover hinted at what I would find inside.




The other GREAT success for me was this art-work that drew me in:


The cover art didn't really give any indication of what the music would be like, but I absolutely loved the whole album. Still do.
