I was lucky to grow up in families who all *loved* music (as much as they all hated each other!), and who had come from all over the country. Little Feat featured heavily in my childhood and will always have a special place. Lowell George is another good one gone too young, but I'm glad he stopped by.

STP were my bread and butter from jr high through HS. I saw Talk Show open for Aerosmith but never got the chance to see STP actually play live, which always bummed me out.

Listening to some Boingo and celebrating that I was able to score a pair of tickets for St. Vincent at Radio City Music Hall!

I never got to see them play live either. I have however always wanted to start a STP tribute band called Stone Temple Pirates. I'd love to play a load of STP tunes in full pirate regalia complete with a fake bird and an eye patch

I am also listening to Squint by Julian Lage. A bit of a weird jazz/blues trio with some really really awesome guitar sounds.
