Built the OCD this weekend. Found out I love it without the 2N7000's with the op amp clipping. Decided I wanted to have the option to have germanium diodes in the mix.....added switches for those. Woke up this morning and decided I wanted to be able to switch on/off the 2n7000's. Well, I figured out how to add those to a switch with a a jumper as well which allows me to use the germanium diodes without the 2n7000, since the kind people here informed me that they are linked with the diodes in series.
Yesterday, I had no idea how I was going to do any of this. For some reason, how to wire switches haven't "switched" on my brain. Today, I completely understand the process. I really appreciate this small community here GREATLY and wouldn't have been able to do any of this without all of these friendly strangers advice.
The wiring and added switches are a mess, but they work and I couldn't be happier.
