OCDish

I really dig the MadBean EgoDeath pedal I built a few weeks ago.

It makes me curious about other OCDish circuits.

Are there any Pedal PCB boards that have a similar "OCD with tweaks" approach?

The Bastion is ok - it sounds to me as if the bass control is set at too low a frequency. It would probably suit down-tuners or bass players better than regular tuned guitar players. If the bass worked on more like guitar frequencies it could actually be a good pedal.

I have a Bastion PCB I never got around to building. I looked at the build docs and there is a 8.2k/100nf 194hz LPF sandwiched between the clipping section and EQ. I'm convinced that's a mistake and it should be a 10nf capacitor to make it more like 1.9khz, but like I said I haven't built it yet. That's gotta make the overall sound of the pedal bassy/warm/dark and in turn the EQ section frequencies act weird.

edit: looked up some gutshots and the two that I found definitely had 100nf caps and 8.2k resistors, so what the hell do I know lol

No. I still have the PCB in my stack of projects. I figured I'd put a couple sets of sockets on those, start out with the specs on the build doc, then adjust from there. I still have a Timmy and a Kliche special edition board to finish up along with a couple of my own pcbs designs to tinker with.
