I made two of the Octa Mayer, both of them sound great, but the LED on one of them isn't working. I thought maybe I had it in backwards, so I swapped it out...swapped it out twice actually because I second-guessed myself.
So I broke out the multimeter and realized I don't have continuity between R100 and the LED (or even the LED pad on the board...I also swapped out R100 in case that was the problem), which leads me to think I damaged the pad when I was desoldering or something. I tried resoldering the LED and the solder runs straight through and blobs on the other side, so I can tell it's not forming a good joint.
I guess my question is, is there anything I can do if I damaged the pad? Or does anyone see anything that points to a different issue?
Thanks!
(I'm still pretty new to this stuff, so forgive me if this is super obvious or if I'm using the wrong terminology)
