You've built dozens of pedals without graphics. How do you know which is which and what the knobs do

I suspect there might be quite often some accidental big volUME SPikes when you fearlessly turn the Level up, thinking it's the Gain knob ?

MichaelW's just proof that you can have a lot of knobs and still work a pedal without needing names.

Quite a number of people on other forums complain about funky nomenclature on pedals (Milk Box is a great example), but they even complain when it's a three knob pedal labelled, I don't know I'll make something up:
THRUST ALTITUDE AFTERBURNER

Well, if you like "Gain Tone & Volume", that's your prerogative — don't buy my pedal with
THRUST ALTITUDE & AFTERBURNER written next to the pots... Gee I wonder what each of those control-labels could be? I don't know, it's so hard to figure out. My brain hurrrrtsss...

Dear all,

I’ve just put it all together and the sub-octave control does literally nothing the ringer circuit and the clean blend work perfectly. Before I start tracking down the problem, I thought I may ask y’all if you have had similar experiences.
